LOUISIANA STATE EXHIBIT MUSEUM TO PRESENT EXHIBITION OF LOCAL ART

 SHREVEPORT, LA. — Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin invites the public to attend the opening of “Really Mixing It Up,” an art exhibit featuring the work of three Northwest Louisiana artists at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum. Artists Kathleen Pate, Malik Stewart and Nancy Farrari utilize a number of mediums in their work, including acrylic and collage, photography and pottery. The exhibit will be on display from July 7 to July 29 in the West Wing Gallery. Local residents and visitors are invited to meet the artists, view the exhibit and enjoy light refreshments provided by the LSEM Friends on Thursday, July 7, from 5-7 p.m.

The museum is located at 3015 Greenwood Road, Shreveport, La. 71109, between Hearne and Jewella streets. Admission is free and the public is invited to view the exhibit during regular museum hours Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
