Shreveport Art Club Annual Juried Show

LOUISIANA STATE EXHIBIT MUSEUM TO PRESENT 

SHREVEPORT ART CLUB ANNUAL JURIED SHOW

SHREVEPORT, La. — Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin invites the public to view an exhibit of the Shreveport Art Club’s recent works. The Shreveport Art Club, celebrating 102 years, will present its Annual Juried Show from August 6 through August 25. There will be an opening reception and Awards Ceremony on Sunday, August 6 from 2-4 p.m. hosted by the Friends of LSEM. The public can view the exhibit during regular museum hours, Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The show will feature artists Christine Bailey, Stephen Banks Joan Cole, Trudy Daniel, Marion Davis, Peggy Guilbert, Ron Hazen, Judy Horne, Laura Houston, Linda Jones, Betsy Levels, Cindy Magee, Ed McDonnell, Lisa Miller, Susan Pierce, Carolyn Pitts, Judy Presley, Beverly Schroeder, Rob Smith, Mike Torma, and Virginia Wisinger. Artist and university professor Donna McGee will serve as guest judge.
