Support the museum’s educational mission and join us for Louisiana Saturday Night – The Friends of LSEM Biennial Fundraising Event.  The exhibit will feature works of New Orleans artist and cartoonist Jim Tweedy and the pottery of Bruce Odell.  Jim Tweedy will be signing prints and Bruce Odell will be demonstrating his Raku firing methods on the grounds.

There will be musical entertainment by Lafayette’s Bayou Boys and Louisiana’s Attorney General-The Honorable Buddy Caldwell will be performing as “Elvis”.   David Alvis’ Silver Star Catering will be providing a vast array of Louisiana cuisine for your taste buds that you may enjoy along with an original Louisiana Daiquiri or a Louisiana beer from the open bar.   During the evening there will be a silent and live auction for all to enjoy!
